Oh that is to funny I wish I had a dolly room to play in. I have thought of turning the so called guest room /office into a doll room but then my sons friend's or others might mess with them when they go into the room with my kids for the computer. I would love to have the room all set up in scenes What a dream. Diane

I know how you feel about the guilt! I think we all have it.
Sometimes I feel bad... because perhaps the money could go towards something better.
But this month I have been VERY VERY GOOD about not buying any things for myself (oh, okay, ok I bought a new dress and one new top)
I just wish there was a CODE! Saving ane xtra 10-12 bucks really makes a huge difference.

Hubby tells me I should have ALL the dolls. I say YES!!!
Then again, I am thinking he means someday, many years from now, when we are bagillionaries or something. Cuz you know, he is always asking me, oh how much was she . . .he always notices if there is a new girl, that is for sure.

Congratulations. She is really the only other doll I want - at least now. I want 2 for DD also. Try not to feel guilty. After all, you did them a favor. Now they don't have to shop for you.

I understand. I have that urge now as well. I want Addy, also a buch of Sam and Kirsten's things, the flower outfit for BB, and the AGPLA exclusives.
So far, I have about 30 dollars saved up in loose change. I'm thinking of selling My Little Ponies to raise the rest.

Yes. I rationalize a lot of my AG purchases.
My DD is so skinny that she can still wear Bitty clothes, and I am sitting here now trying to figure out how to get her the Fresh Flowers outfit for our next AGP visit.

Yes I suffer horribly from guilt! Especially when the kids come into my sewing room and ask, "How many dolls do you have now?"
Sometimes I just can't seem to stop myself! But I truly love them, and take so much pleasure in them! Sometimes I think I should box some of them away, but I can't bring myself to do it. At least I have the excuse of selling the clothes I make for them. But I haven't figured out how to justify the clothes I BUY for them!! My rationale for it all is the following:
If I die with no one to give all of my toys to (or if there isn't a relative alive who wants them), then I will bequeath them all to a charity for children. I can't think of anything that would be better than that!
Otherwise, they keep me sane. When I'm in a bad mood, my DH sends me to my room (with a suggestion). "Why don't you go in your room for a while and play with your dolls? That'll make you feel better." he says....and off I tramp into my girly room.

Ever since I saw the picture someone posted of their #22 in the white AG Revue overalls outfit (store exclusive), I've been wanting to get the doll AND that outfit!!
(I was already considering #22, but bought 2 other dolls instead during my big blowout at AGPC in March--had to narrow down my list somehow; so many dolls, so little $$$$!!!)
But I CAN'T get another doll so soon--how would I explain it to DH? He already thinks that 14 is a bit excessive--and if I started calling them "morsels" like prasnlrd, HE'd call the men in white coats!
Meanwhile, #22 looks like an angel in her white overalls with that sparkly silver star.....(sigh) [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
